Back in August of 2019 when I still had a wood lathe I made a few of my own yo-yos which I named “Cambium”. I gave it high inner walls so that when I let go of the loop and flipped it around the loop tended to lock itself……
If you didn’t know, there’s a style of yo-yoing called counterweight (or 5a) where instead of tying the string to your hand you tie it to a weight which allows for some rather interesting tricks.
